Not much has changed but it seems just like a few years ago we graduated.  I have 2 boys and six grandchildren.  I work in Seattle but live in a small town.   My grandchildren keep me busy.   When I am not with them I like to travel.   Learn alot from visiting other countries and places.  It will be nice to visit and see others.

Business Development Representative Married 3 2021-08-02 11:42:24
Life has been so different since retiring as a marketer for Pioneer Title.  More time?  Not so much.  We have filled up on family (so fun!), friends, community and our faith in Jesus Christ.  We have turned our cabin in Cascade into home since 2014.

Sharing life for 49 years with Howard Andrews (class of '69) has been such a blessing.  Our three kids Mallisa Sower, Dan Andrews and Angie Shuster along with 8 grandchildren and three outlaws (lol!) have continued to be a blessing and comfort to us.

Wishing you all well from our home to yours.

TPA Manager Married 3 2021-06-12 12:51:28

Greetings Class of 71!
Since graduating, I served a 2-year Spanish mission to Colorado, graduated from BSU with a Communications degree, married Sandi  (now 45 years) and raised three wonderful children. Our daughter Sarah is married with 3 kids living in Spokane; our son Nathan died 17 years ago in a mountaineering accident; and Josh, who is married with 4 kids living in Hayden.
I retired 3 years ago from Intermountain Claims where I managed their Montana operations. We’ve doing a little traveling around the country, some camping and hiking in the great outdoors. I have been working on my principal hobby of digital photography, and digitized old 8mm movies and a few thousand slides that have been in the closet for many years (there remains much to do).
I have enjoyed annual backpack trips into the back country with the family and work within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Young Men program.
Two years ago I became a volunteer driver for the church of a 2½ ton Freightliner truck 1-2 days per month delivering food to the needy in western Montana (fulfills a childhood dream of driving a big truck).
We recently moved my 92 year-old mother into our home and Sandi has a disabled sister she is helping three days per week, so we’re managing to keep busy. Retirement hasn’t slowed us down much.  We’re enjoying life and looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Irrigation tech Married 5 2012-08-06 14:50:51
I think of all the learning we endured during our 12 years of education (and college) and not much of it prepares you for life after high school. Would be nice if we could do it again, but with what we know now. This is what I like about the class reunions. I really think life is more about relationships than anything else.     OK enough of that. I've been with the Murrieta School District for close to 9 years and working in the irrigation department. We keep everything very green all year round, fix what gets broken, etc.        Carla and I have been married for over 28 years, 5 kids and 7 grandkids. Grandkids are so much fun, we love spending time with them. We take them to Disneyland as often as we can (50 miles from us) but a few of the grandkids are still a little young for the long day and hour wait lines.                         Carla teaches special ed. in the city just south of us at one of their high schools, very demanding job, better her than me, I like working outside by myself. Hope to retire in 4 maybe 8 years (see how healthy I feel in the next few years)                                       I look at our year book from time to time and wonder where most of you are and what you are doing. With all the technology we have at out fingertips I hope we can stay in touch now.

NA/Disabled Married 2 2012-08-06 16:38:44
Hey Everyone! Sorry that I'm not there this year, but after "my" car accident in Nov. of 08 and the stroke that followed the accident, my Dr. said my brain is pretty scrambled. I can't work anymore, and I have pretty much become a hermit, except when I make Rob take me shopping. We will be married 40 years in Nov, the 24th. I have 6 granddaughters. One is in the army and stationed in Germany. All in all everything is pretty much the same I think. I don't remember much, and forget things in a split second on my bad days. Hope you all have a great time, even though I'm not there.

Physical Therapy Aide Married 1 2012-08-06 16:35:08
After graduation I went to Cosmotology School and got my license which I still have. I got married and had a daughter almost nine years later. I got divorced after 11 1/2 years. I worked at Mercy Hospital  for almost nine years as a Physical Therapy Aide and then went to Elks Rehabilation in Boise after my divorce. I worked there almost six years. I then went to work for St. Alphonsus RMC and have been there 22 years still working in Physical Therapy. I got married again to Jim Hiatt nine years ago. Jim and I have a 2 year old grandaughter by my daughter and her husband Justin and we have twin grandaughters by his son Shane. We continue to live in Boise and I'm looking forward to retiring in 7 or 8 years.
