RN Administrator (retired) Married 3 7 grands 2021-08-10 10:15:45
After working as an OB nurse at Mercy for over 25 years, I moved on to St. Al's in Boise, again in OB and NICU for a couple years. I am now with Public Health as division administrator. It's quite different and challenged me to learn a new field of nursing. It's a whole new world of infectious disease (I know more about tuberculosis than I ever wanted to know), immunizations and women's health. My 3 children Mindy, Amy and Joe live in the area and have provided us with 6 grandchildren and another arriving next month. I remarried in 2000 to classmate Tom Ryan. I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, golfing, biking and reading. I can't wait to see you all again.

Update:
That addtional grandchild arrived in 2011 for a totoal of 7. They are all jocks, the oldest will start her second year at UNLV on hepthalon & acedemic scholarship. The next one played starting quarterback for Skyview in Nampa.
He's in Ca now, making his fortune selling solar panels :). He plans to return in the fall and begin working on construction management degree. We also have super baseball, volleyball, another football player. I do a lot of bleacher sitting and love every minute of it.
After 10 years as clinic administrator for Health District 3, I retired in 2018. In fall of 2019 I was diagnosed necrotizing myopathy which causes muscle weakness. My neurologist said lets get CT for "associated cancers". Bingo; adominal mass showed stage 4 ovarian cancer. A big surgery was followed by a port placement & chemo. I lost all my hair, which really didn't bother me much. It made morning routine much easier-ha. My hair has now grown back quite curly. My cancer is not actively growing at this time, and I feel pretty good. We know it will be back, but until then I'm working on my bucket list and appreciate everyday!

Still working, but ready for the easy life!  I've been employed for 39 years with The Hertz Corporation, managing corporate relationship within a four State geography.  My wife, Elaine, and I raised our three children in Nampa, then moved to Utah in 2003 in conjunction with my job.  We have five grandchildren.  My parents still live in Nampa and we just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in May 2021.
